Have a better chance of winning the lotto. Blue dial sky is up there with a Daytona

Odds are about 50% that they had one in the back, but not for you. Sorry bro. This is the new reality.

As Sofia Vergara would say "Did you do something to make an AD sell you the watch? If you did, then you get the watch. But if you didn't then you can't get the watch."

Likely harder than white Daytona, although less demand. They just produce less of SkyD.

My AD says they are harder to get than the Daytona which could be 7-10 years
wait… and thats if they like you, and that’s if you are an excellent customer, and that’s if you’re good friends with the dealer and so on and so forth…

The exhibition watch program is a master stroke for Rolex. Newbies are going absolutely berserk for Rolex!

Literally 0%. If you want it buy it gray. You’ll save a literal fortune before you even get into the group of customers they might sell it to. And even if you get into that group, the odds aren’t that good.

Most ADs will not waitlist you for a SS Sky dweller as a new customer.

Just depends on your current relationship with any AD out there. If you have never done business with any AD in the last decade, then you're probably going to be out of luck for a while. Persistence pays off but the GMT, Daytona, and Skydweller aren't really for new customers. They have to be earned.

Interesting you say that, as I don’t think I’ve actually seen many of the most in demand watches (thinking steel white Daytona, blue Sky-Dweller, Pepsi GMT, YG green dial Daytona, Meteorite GMT, etc.) as exhibition pieces. I believe Wempe has a blue Sky-Dweller and Tourneau Bryant Park has a Pepsi GMT, but that’s all I’ve seen from the ADs in NYC.

tourneau bryant park has a skydweller as well. don't remember if it's blue or black though but was there last week and saw it next to the gmt

unless you have purchase history with AD your chances are very low

significant purchase history = maybe a year, if lucky
some history = few years, if lucky
no history = no watch

Going gray for blue SkyD makes more sense to me than gray for DaytonaC.

I would say zero chance to get the blue skydweller at retail. rolex retail price is just an imaginary figure, either you spend big money on other stuffs to get it at AD or you go grey.

OPs's messages are painful to read, good grief!
I think your chances are close to 0 if you haven't made prior purchases with a specific AD. Just go grey

This. Other than here on TRF, I don’t think Skydwellers are super in demand but anecdotally even high volume dealers don’t get a lot of them.
