Clasp sticking out solution?

Other threads I’ve found say remove a link and put clasp at “last” pinhole. But that doesn’t leave me room to microadjust bigger on a hot day so doesn’t work for me

Any other solutions? I could “pinch” the clasp sides in with needle nose pliers maybe? Might prevent them from sliding out of the clasp enclosure area?

The source of the sticking out clasp issue must be something that’s bent somewhere, because a NOS 93150 bracelet with the same settings wouldn’t stick out like this. Which is why I wondered if I could re-bend it inwards

I also have this issue on the Oyster bracelet for my G&S Sub. Very interested in what solutions are posted.

.
Couple of different solutions. Bending the blade and/or the top of the clasp inward, here are some related topics:

The forum is very resourceful.

Clasp sticking out solution?

From the photo, it seems the blades aren’t supporting the clasp because the adjustment pin is set too far inward.

I do understand your desire to have a greater range of adjustment but if you are at the last inward pinhole now, then the blades underneath the clasp will not support the bracelet link to your liking.

It’s possible to do as Larry suggested more than once in those threads. But the clasp will stick out due to your wrist size/shape regardless. Those steps are designed to ensure a crisp, secure clasp click. If the keeper that folds over the clasp is loose, and flipping open as well, a careful press with proper parallel force should make it more secure.

You could remove one (half) link and add (or not) to the other side to force clasp to sit on the flattest part of your wrist. I remember asking RSC to do this on a 1665 I used to own.

You can flip the bracelet around so it opens in the other side.
If you want to see how it works, just put the watch on upside down.
