Congratulations

Very beautiful gift for the wife, wondering if that's harder to source or the new aquanaut 5268?

Thank you! I believe the 5268 is harder because it is the most recent release

Congrats!

Maybe I'm wrong but this is the best yellow gold watch out there. Look how pure the gold (colour) looks, the mixture is perfect. The gold of the 5711/1R doesn't look like this, right?

Thanks Victor!

I haven't asked my AD for my next Patek yet. Will give it more thoughts but it is very likely to be a 5270.

Thanks bro!

This piece is a rose gold (maybe due to the lighting it looks yellowish). My wife would love to have a yellow gold though but there is no current Nautilus in yellow gold at the moment.

My mistake, it looks really yellow! But even looking at the 5711R the colour is different right?

It's stunning either way.

Ladies pieces are 4N gold and men’s 5N so they do look different

Great info on the gold - I didn't know Patek uses different composition for RG but it makes sense to me

Thanks!

I'm glad my wife shares the same hobby. She just came into this slightly more than 2 years ago (I blame IG) and now she has quite a Genta-esque collection.

Congratulations. My wife has the non-diamond SS one and she wished that she picked the one with diamond as it is such a nice dress watch. (I know it is supposed to be sports…)

So hopefully we can pick up a 5268R this coming year. That would be her sporty, bling watch.

Congrats to the missus!! Wonder if she knows she got the short end of the stick…haha…your future 5270 compared to her 7118.

If I were the one making the choice, I will probably choose the non-diamond version too

I would have chosen the non-diamond if I were the one making the choice. Congrats in advance for the stunning 5268R!

Thank you! Good thing she is not very into complications (yet). Maybe she will be some time into the future, but at least they are comparatively easier to get from AD.

I have a 7118r. They are great watches and color of gold looks yellow sometimes.

RG in men’s it’s a bit lighter in men’s PP watches.

I thinks they want their RG to be versatile.

I think all mfrs. should make YG versions of all models…

Comparing side-by-side with the AP pink gold, the Patek rose gold is more "yellowish" on this Nautilus.
