If the AP ROO you are trading for is the one with the new in-house chrono flyback movement, I'd say go for it. If it is the old dubois depraz chrono module, I'd say pass.

After playing with all of my watches this morning, I say don’t do it. The APROO is probably the most or only regrettable watch in my collection. Just imagine a brick that you would build a house with, with a leather strap attached. That’s about how elegant the watch is. I wore it this morning and then changed to the hulk. It made the hulk feel like a nautilus. Keep what you have or hold out for a regular RO not ROO.

Mostly agree but I think all Rolex are mediocre in reality so would definitely do the trade up to haute horologie.
Rolex are top of the mid tier and high street king but the likes of AP and other top tier brands are on a much higher level
