No kids. If we have one or adopt, that child will get it and probably most of my other stuff. If no kids then my possessions probably will be split between her, my brother, her family and my close friends.

Worried about this, does this apply to Vintage Harleys, modern BMW,s and Snap On Tools.
Have appointed an expert on all the above as an executor of my will so my family get correct values at the time.

Probably the guy stealing it off my wrist after coming upon my remains - realistically speaking.

Nobody. My collection is to be melted, and minted in commemorative coins that will be given out as party favors to those who attended my funeral.

I hope to live long enough to start gifting my watches to my two sons. They both like watches so should make them very happy. They are already fighting over my sports car...

If I die before him he would probably have to be put down. His world revolves around his daddy. That being said, I hope I’m just middle aged now but he’s only got maybe 4 yrs left if I’m lucky.

I have one Rolex, which will go to my niece, as I have no children (hence, no grandchildren, either). I have two Tag Heuers, one of which will go to my nephew's wife, and the other to my grandniece.

My three grandsons will get them when they turn 25 regardless if I am living or not. Unfortunately there is a better than 50% chance they will end up in a pawnshop within six months. I'll just have to make sure they have a good idea of the value so they won't sell them for $500.

I’ll sell them off as I near the rainbow bridge and spend myself down to nothin’. I read an obituary once about a man who died broke. Everybody said it was a tragedy but I think it’s perfect timing.

I aspire to bounce my last check to the mortician. That’s “perfect.”

So far I have handed a few down, and will continue to do so. I love seeing my passion for nice, robust watches being appreciated by the next generation! That said, I am more excited to give them things which will last forever!

I’d be re-thinking that strategy if I were you. The value of them will be lumped into the total net worth of your estate under chattels. This could possibly bring your family, a very large inheritance tax bill if you exceeed the allowance.

Another thing, some of these experts don’t have a clue what they’re looking at.

I’ve seen so called experts from auction houses admire the ‘gold plating’ on a modern Rolex…..please!

My family already know what to do with any remaining collection when I die. It won’t include executors getting valuations. When I check out, my collection will disappear, along with me!

That depends. Are there grey dealers in Valhalla, or does anybody have any information about the supply situation with ADs in Valhalla? If so, do I have to make the literal 'Deal with the Devil' to get any Rolexes there, and who would be my point of contact if it turns out that my Valhalla is actually in heaven? Does God himself oversee the allocation, or is that outsourced to Mr. Wilsdorf?

Anyway, I have a son who already has his first Rolex and I guess the other 13 will end up with him as well. Maybe he will have the courage to peel of the stickers. And the 16030 that my parents gave me 38 years ago, you can put it in the casket (with B&P please).

My gf will get the pick of which ones she would like to keep. All others will go to a couple of best friends.

My son is already on my trust. He gets all of my watches and guns etc. He will have his hands full with all the NFA paperwork.

Hope he likes watches but I get the vibe he does. He is only 3 and likes them.
