It's not uncommon second guessing on a DJ. I prefer smooth and oyster as I like a more sporty look. I ordered a Silver dial (played it safe) the next day changed it to the Wimbledon. I couldn't be happier but also love black as the perfect gada piece and believe you can't have too many black dials, you only wear one at a time..Since your still undecided you might as well wait and try on the Blue and go from there.

As an owner of a 126300 DJ 41 / Smooth Bezel / Oyster Bracelet in Black I can assure you this Black is AMAZING!
Keep in mind that black on DJ is a sunburst kind of black that you definitely have to see in person and in sunlight to really appreciate it.

I liked blue but saw “bright black” at the jeweler and it looked sharp as well (wasn’t really a black, looked almost charcoal) and seemed to fit well w/ diamonds. The “bright blue” on another model, looked more like light blue under their lighting which makes it hard to decide.. |

Rhodium and Blue are beautiful. Black would be my last choice. Depends on which dials you have on your other watches.

I’m late to this thread but tried on the Dj41 jubilee rhodium fluted and really liked it. Been trying to get the blue for a while. Both are very nice. Might be worth seeing if any ADs have demo one, this was at mappin and Webb on Piccadilly/old bond st corner if you happen to come to london

This is why I ordered a silver dial. If you ask me what dial I like the most, I’d always say blue. It’s stunning. If you ask me what dial I’m actually going to buy, I’m going to say silver. Like you, I also already have a blue dial watch, so silver makes more sense for me. It’s just more versatile and it’s still stunning. Out of your choices I’d go with Rhodium but I think it’s now called slate, not Rhodium anymore. EDIT: I responded after only reading the very first post. I see you got black. Congratulations! It looks great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
