14060m overly polished...any other issues?
Its a thin delicate chamfer on the 5 digits. Its the first thing to go when polished. I see shops advertising polish work and the before photos the watches have a bit of the original chamfer showing. The after photos it is entirely gone. Sharp edges like on the 6 digits. Keep in mind these ads are designed to boast about the quality of work. So turning a 5 digit into a 6 digit.
Then oddly we’ve been seeing RSC serviced 6 digit models with a very cool rounded edge almost like a chamfer. It is very well done, but does resembles the before photos seen in the said polishing photos. So turning a 6 digit into a 5 digit. The watch world can be quite odd. White dial watches we always content with black color lint and dust. On black color dials we content with white color lint and dust. We call it “where’s Waldo for dust”. Personally I think the price is high for an old watch that probably needs a service, but I honestly don't know what the market is in the UK, and the watch looks pretty good to me. It does come with boxes and papers, removed links, etc. correct? That's mandatory if you ever want to sell it for close to average retail.

Good question...I don't think box and papers are typically worth anything more to some. I'm sure there's a lot here that wouldn't be overly concerned but for me it's just a little bit more piece of mind to have it. I would just be reluctant to buy without papers I think
