Pepsi after CHNR or not?

Hello,

I currently own a CHNR purchased new at the AD a few months ago. I am wondering should I add a Pepsi or is that too similar to the CHNR? I have since then purchased a Datejust 36 fluted bezel with diamonds marker for the wife so I am "on the list" for a Pepsi. Any thoughts?

My other option is to skip the pepsi and just save for Daytona on oysterflex for 2022.

They are all very different watches...... would recommend the Pepsi if you can get at retail. I am not a big Daytona fan but personally love the oysterflex series. Had a chance to try on last year and loved it. Good Luck

Even though they're both GMTs I don't think they are similar enough to be considered redundant. The color scheme look, the PM on the CHNR and feel of each is very different, and the Pepsi on the Jubilee makes it look and wear apart from the CHNR. Bottom line: don't worry about it; buy what you like and will wear.

Would suggest the Daytona instead as you already have the Rootbeer

I second this. The current Pepsi offering with jubilee bracelet wears and looks very different from the CHNR. It's very beautiful in its own way, and a great piece to add diversity to your collection, I feel. With the current crazy supply shortage if your AD can land you one I'd say def go for it

Besides the complication, case shape, and the logo on the watch the BLRO and CHNR are nothing alike

TT vs SS
Brown/black vs. Blue/Red
Oyster vs. Jubilee

They are very different watches and I see no problem owning both. The Pepsi and Daytona OF are very different as well though. I think the more important question, unless you intend to get both, is which of those two would you prefer?

Get the Pepsi if you’ve been wanting it; pass if not. If you do get it, I reckon you may decide which of the two GMTs you like better...sell the one you don’t like as savings toward the Daytona.

I have chnr and blnr on jubilee. they're nothing alike aesthetically beside the function of a gmt. get the pepsi if you can, the latest ones coming from the factory have a wonderful red.

Thanks everyone...i will keep on the pepsi list. I have a Tudor Chrono SG and Speedy so i guess there is no urgent need to get another chrono for now...but man the gold daytona looks very nice but ~30k USD.

Totally different look.
Since the CHNR is perhaps the best looking GMT ever made I don’t think the BLRO would add anything if I were in your shoes.

I think it’s a bit of a moot point. Unless you have an offer to buy one or are planning to buy one grey right now, no need to even think about it. You may not get that call.

If in your shoes and wanting to make a decision ASAP, I’d get a Pepsi and trade the tt chnr for a full RG.

I had my CHNR for a couple of years before getting my Pepsi. You can definitely have both. They are very different watches to look at.

I just picked up a Pepsi yesterday and it’s a great watch. If you love the watch get it, if you don’t love it don’t buy it. My ad called with my Pepsi yesterday, so yea I think they are out there. Only purchase I made with my ad was no date 3 years ago and a Tudor gmt 5 months ago.

Two totally different looks. I’d say they can both exist in the Watchbox!
