Everyday GADA Watch <$3000

Hi Guys, hope all of you are doing well. I’m a long time lurker and first time thread starter here.

I was wondering if you could help me pick a “go anywhere, do anything” wrist watch for my daily wear which should have at least 100m WR and a screw down crown. I have a 6.5inch wrist and have worn watches from 38mm-42mm.

I’m leaning towards dressier sports watches not exceeding 40mm

Currently I’m contemplating a Tudor BB36 in either blue or black dial.

Are there any other choices at that price point?

Thank you for your help!

Got this DJ for the very same purpose, I have 7" wrist and have been looking for an everyday watch for awhile.

Another highly recommended one would be the Omega Aqua Terra 38mm with Blue dial, it looks amazing in steel & rubber.

Good luck with your journey...

I had a NOMOS Club Campus 38 that was a great GADA. I hate that I sold it and plan to add another NOMOS to my collection one day. It was a watch that could be dressed up or down, had great loom and 100m WR. All for well under your budget.

If you want to step up to an automatic movement and more WR then there is the CLUB NEOMATIK Ref 744.

I had a GS SBGA227 and sold it after a few months as I couldn’t blend with it. The finishing was really superb tho!

I’ll look into the NOMOS. Seems like a beautiful option. But I’d prefer something on a bracelet as i have too many watches on straps now.

I wish I could too. Both these watches are way out of my budget. I was looking for the Omega AT 8500 in blue dial as I had the opaline dial previously and sold it. I’ve waited for the blue dial to show up in my country for 3-4 years but it didn’t believe it or not. But those are solid suggestions mate!

Solid suggestions mate! I wished I could stretch my budget more but those 2 watches are out of my reach. Tried hard looking for a blue dial Omega AT8500 but believe it or not I’ve waited for 4 years for it to show up in my country.

Simple Seiko

Gada means dark alleys and war zones too.

IWC Mark 18. Not sure about its seaworthiness, but if you don't swim with it, it is a good sports/dress hybrid. I have mine on a OEM leather strap. Also comes on a bracelet. It may come in at 3-4K, but if you can wrangle a discount or buy gray or gently used, you can pull it off.

Seiko Sarb033 or Sarb35. Great timepieces for <$500. Some call them a Baby Grand Seiko.

Get the Grand Seiko SBGN005 (blue dial). Date, time, gmt, 10 Bar/100m water resistance, exceptionally accurate, fantastic proportions, and oh, like 3k. Its equally dressy and sporty. I dont think there is a better watch that fits your description.
