NWA!!! 5811G landed!!!
The 5811G arrived this week . TBH, I'm beyond excited about this Nautilus, and still can't believe this one is mine. Having worn a 5711 for a while, I feel the 5811 is a big upgrade in every way, and to me, is a perfect watch.
I love the weight and heft of the white gold - yes, it's notably heavier than the steel 5711. The blue dial is gorgeous, especially outside during sunny days. The new clasp with micro adjust is a huge upgrade and much easier to use compared to 5711 clasp. It sits so perfectly on my wrist, and I simply can't stop looking at it. Overall, I'm absolutely in love with the 5811G and is going to be a permanent part of my collection. |

Congratulations! Wear in good health! I am yet to try it on and decide that I definitely want it, but, most likely, will love it. Love heavy watches.

Isn’t it the same blue like the 5711?

The Nautilus is a gorgeous watch and especially so (to me) in the thinner versions for their casual elegance. Enjoy it well!

As good as it gets, enjoy it. That bezel needs a few scratches to make it perfect.

The new vibrant blue dial is the real upgrade, the old industrial blue/grey dial just was too old fashioned, too 70s.

Great pickup, congrats! I love the fact these blue dials are reimagined in different hues as you go across the catalogue. The 5811 hue is lovely.

There is something incredibly special about WG & a blue dial. Nice pick-up!

I didn’t realize they added a micro adjustment on the clasp. Nice
I assume the 5712 doesn’t have this? |

Yeah, the micro adjust is pretty awesome! I have the 5712 from 2021 with the old clasp which doesn’t have it. The new 5712’s from this year should come with the updated clasp, but not sure about micro adjust on those.

The 2 piece cased 5811 is the best Nautilus of the collection as it is simple and uncluttered by complications as originally intended..
