Thinking about the new 911. Just an “s” nothing fancy. Black/Black/Black.

2019 GLC43 here. Loads of fun, quick enough to get in trouble. 50/50 on getting a tune for it.

That’s nothing fancy? That’s pretty fabulous in my book...

We’ve been waiting to see the X7 in person but I think I’m about to put a deposit down for a Land Cruiser Heritage.

I think MSRP will be within 20%. However, the price gouging by the dealers for a new model will be another story.

Ha, I missed the lower comment on the LC. Looked like a signature.

The LC Heritage is HOT! But they’re only going to sell like 1200 units late ‘19. I need to muster up the commitment (if I can get one at all) and arrange a deposit. The truck is sweet and would fit every single one of our needs and more so. We’ll see. I have to discuss with the boss.

I think the LC will hold better long term value.

For me, it’s a no brainer. I have not looked into the new X5, but I would not be surprised if it had a bit more tech and is more refined. Having said that, I know the Cruiser is not far behind. With the Cruiser, you will also not have to worry about it every being up to the task. And when it comes time to sell in 5, 10 or 20 years, you know it’s going to hold its value so much better than the X5.

Just my

Just my

It’s the X7 we have our eye on. It has the space we need and a lot of great features. I’m not too hooked on tech and love basics as well. The Land Cruiser Heritage though is exactly as you say and could literally be a part of the fam 10 plus years from now. And it’s off road capabilities is definitely a huge plus that the X7 just wouldn’t be able to compete with. I have to weight a few very important considerations: 4X4 or true AWD, safe in the rain, excellent in the snow, enough boot for a lot of travel gear, 3rd row (Heritage deletes this for some reason), 2” tow hitch with bull to tow, some off roading and camping, and most important be able to do 1,000 mile treks in a day or two without exhaustion. I don’t know how good the LC H is for long treks especially on highway.

So these are the criteria and unfortunately there are very few offerings out there and I do not want another GL. The GL has a lot of very positive attributes but also has some major design flaws that are unacceptable. My GL even has fake headlight washer flaps with nothing inside. An SUV meant for rain and snow but no headlight washers!? Really. It also has body flex and creaking on the B-pillars that’ll drive you nuts. Anyway the list goes on.

Wow, that's some serious oil capacity!

+1
I just bought a brand new one July 26.. I’ve driven 1200 miles since. Cars are not the top of any sort of list, but this has much more features then my 08 Touareg I had for 10 years.

Picked up a 2019 BMW X3M40i couple of weeks ago. First SUV for me and I like it a lot. Pretty quick for what it is and doesn't break the bank.

Post a pic! I considered it along with the GLC43 I ended up with.
