What a great thread - nice work, fellas. Congrats, Lazlo on the Type 113. One of the best looking cameras on the market.

I'm a neophyte but finally bought a decent camera for travel. Fuji X100s. So far - loving it. Never shot raw - these are all straight out of the camera jpegs.

Hi Wayne, I don't have any experience with underwater photography, but I'm sure there are some members here with some advice. I guess the principle is the same when it comes to ISO, shutter speed, etc.. I guess if you're not diving too deep, you have ample light. Would love to see your set-up and learn more about it!

Holga shots look great - nothing like the Holga look. I played around with them and a Diana. So much fun. I'd love to try pin-hole one day.

I like shooting spontaneous photos of people.

A 35mm film shot of children playing in the rain at an old WWII Japanese jail in Truk, Micronesia:

Another 35mm film photo. These children live on a garbage barge on a river in Shanghai, China:

I have a cannon S110. I have started with the basics and plan to add another strobe, focus light and a couple of wet lenses in the near future. As long as conditions cooperate I plan on getting it wet on Sat. If I am able to get anything resembling a photo I will post. Wish me luck!

Thanks, Lazlo! I enjoy shooting black and white photos. (Rather, I should say converting digital shots to B&W.) Many times, a photo that is totally unremarkable in color turns out great in B&W. This is the Oregon coast taken on one of my last trips by motorcycle to the West Coast.

I have an S110 also. Truly an amazing little camera. I shot these photos on Tuesday evening with the S110 on Auto during ski patrol lift evacuation training. The lighting turned out terrific.

That's awesome! The XT-1 is a superb camera, that was my first choice before getting the X 113.

Great stuff and happy shooting to you too! I have some goodies to post tonight.
