Oh my gosh...a 1974 Ford Mustang II.
It leaked oil and had a slow leak in the tire. What’s weird was there was not thought about fixing it, I just kept a couple of cans of fix a flat around and put air in when needed. And make no mistake about it...it’s not really a mustang...this car was more like a hamster!! I got an old neighborhood guy to let me take it and give him $50, with a promise to give him $50 per week until I paid him $300. I had it for two years. It was horrible. I loved it. It was the best! Nice thread thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

1993 Ford Escort 1.8lx 16v. A bit slow off the mark but a monster compared to typical driving instructor cars. Happily cruised at 115mph and drove it until it died.

1981 or 2 brown Subaru hatchback hand-me-down. It went to college with me, where I left it for my sister who followed, who then left it for my brother who followed too. I think there's still some residual rust from it on the roads near Utica.

Ford Escort 1.3L, like a burnt terra-cotta colour. 5 door. Bought it when i was 18. Thought it was the bees knees i really did.
Travelled all over the UK in it, never let me down. Seemed to run on fresh air in regards petrol. Never serviced it in 4 years, I couldn't afford to. |

Edit: Manual, of course

I bought my cousins 1976 MGB with less than 1,000 miles. He was getting married and didn’t want the payments. I had it for about two years before it felt too small and slow.

'72 Barracuda. 318. You could get them fairly cheap then (in the late 70's). Liked it, but sold it to fund more time in vehicles I already knew were a 1000 X more fun (airplanes). Replaced it with one of those cheaper, disposable vehicles from back then (A chevy Monza I think it was).
