The black mop is not as common as the white, no question. They have a dial, called tahiti something or other that is black mop and it's very, very nice.

This is a picture of the Black Tahitian MOP dial!! It may appear brown, but in reality is black. Changes colours under different light conditions. Extremely beautiful.....and very, very expensive!!

If you got it from NZ, it would probably cost 3 times or more, tosser. Who the hell is going to pay your air fare?

I would agree that the black mother of pearl is more difficult to find, however, Rolex will most likely agree to change a white mother of pearl dial for a black mother of pearl dial if you are prepared to pay for the service.

I much prefer the white MOP over the black. The black just looks smudgy to me and the lettering is very difficult to read.

Agreed!! Superb looks....but very hard to read the time. But with that beauty on your wrist, I doubt you will ever notice the time even when you're gazing at it for hours on end!!

A white MOP is £1600 with service and black MOP is £2600 roughly I just was quoted an estimate as currently thinking of changing my dial
