Spectacular specification.

500kW with manual gearbox and rear wheel drive sounds like fun to me.

Doubt my license would survive.

When GM stopped building cars in Australia there was a big rush from the local GM V8 fans to get one of the last models. The last Commodore V8s were similar to this and if you could afford the petrol and A$100K + price were a good acquisition. The manual gearbox is an absolute must in my opinion. Why would you not want to swap cogs in that. It's all about operator involvement. It's a good looking car. You have done well.

Thanks. Every time I drive it, I am more and more impressed with this suspension. The MagnaRide technology has really gotten good. Honestly, there are some roads in which this thing rides better than my BMW 7 series did.

Yeah, I got stuck in traffic driving home a couple of days ago... it's a heavy clutch, but having gobs of torque really helps too. But if the delay lasts more than about 10 minutes, I really start to regret my decision for a DD.

Of course! But historically I've spent a lot of time on the racetrack, so I can get my fix there, where it's much safer and legal.

Yeah, it's a terrible disease, isn't it?

Many times I lament that I could have retired at 40 if not for my car habit. But then I think about all of the fun that I've had....

There is nothing to laugh about. That’s a great car. I’m not really enthusiastic about the new 5 series from BMW or new E class from Mercedes, so this is a serious contender.

Now this is a serious machine. What a beast. Automotive journalists love this thing. Really great choice! Makes a hell of a great sound...nothing like a bad ass American V8!

Cool! I like Cadillacs. Although we went to look at one at a local dealer awhile back and we were very ignored among a large crowd and never got a test drive.

Not sure who you are asking, but I had two of the new (G82) M4, both with a manual. Great cars. But the Blackwing is better in every regard except interior material quality and the stereo.

And I'm a long-time BMW fanbois.

That looks really good.

I don't think you can buy them in the UK. I like the sound of the manual transmission, not many cars that size are available in the UK with manual gearboxes now.

No, I don't want an electric car, nor do I want a Chinese Volvo.
