Grand Seiko sunburst--looking for info

I've admired Grand Seikos for some time without taking the plunge. However, the other day while out of town I saw a deep-blue sunburst dial version at a dealer and was absolutely smitten. Unfortunately, I didn't get details. Googling around, it looks like it might have been a 62gs or SBGA 105?

I don't know much about Grand Seikos. What are the differences between the two, and what price range might be expected for a pre-owned? (Though, looking through sites such as DSW, Takuya, chrono24, watchrecon, it doesn't seem like there are many on the market.)

Thanks for any help.

My guess is that it is the SBGV239J. Look it up it’s awesome. It’s with their quartz 9F movement in the 44GS case. It’s the quartz GS that I want

Thanks, but I like mechanical watches. The one I saw had the little power reserve meter.

That is an absolutely amazing watch.
I’m loving the power reserve , and the spring drive movement!

It’s probably the SBGA375. I tried one on at a dealer in November and the seller told me to take it to look at it in the sunlight and I was blown away. My wife bought it for me for Christmas and I love it. It looks black in low light but the hands and markers are so highly polished it’s very legible.
I’ve seen some in the for sale forum for around $4k. Retail is $5200 I think. Most grand Seiko dealers will offer you some discount.
It’s a gorgeous watch and I like how GS matches the date wheel on their stock models and dislike how the date wheel doesn’t match on the limited editions. That’s the main reason I chose the SBGA375 over the ice blue GS USA limited model.

Get in touch with Hyde Park in Phoenix or AZ fine time. They are both great GS dealers

I like the GS models with ornate dials. I tried this one on at a watch show in NYC last year.
