Breguet Classique
Any thoughts on this one or anyone have one? I've been on the hunt for a good and simple dress watch for a long time. I've been back and forth between Patek, ALS, JLC, Vacheron and Piaget, but I keep coming back to this one...
You get the Breguet staples, hands, numerals and coin-edge and you get a wonderful enamel dial. They can be had in the mid to high-teens $ brand new, seems like a great value from a historic company (swatch group aside). The only real knock I have is that I'd prefer it just a touch smaller in diameter (although 40mm fits we very well) and I've always been in the "dress watches should be manuals" camp, but I can certainly get over that. What do you guys think? |
