Grand Tour is Back

Well the first episode of season three anyway. I thought they always released a whole season at a time?

Anyway muscle cars and Detroit. Really so sad what’s happened to Detroit.

Some people are saying it will be the last season, all ready reports that season 4 will be different, aka not filmed in a tent.

No, thats how they’ve released the other 2 seasons too

It’s started well!

I thought seasons 1 and 2 were a bit of a flop (and I LOVED Top Gear)

I thought it was good.

Detroit however..........

Pretty sad. I go up there for work but not to those neighborhoods.

I enjoyed it and hope they continue for at least another season past this one. Going to the film segments as the primary content was the right move.

Detroit was a joke. Honestly, they should turn it into a car park. Would probably bring more revenue there than anything else going on. Sadly, other cities are headed to turn into the same thing. As for the show, I wish they wouldn't get so off course as to what they are doing. The driving around, tire shredding, and drag racing was cool. But, the track build in the abandon warehouse started to get a bit tiring. Such a tight course for such big cars with tons of power at the rear wheels. And then the house and gardening??? They lose me with that sort of stuff. Was nice seeing the Senna though!!

I watched it and can't wait for the other episodes! Detroit certainly is a very sad place.

Not long ago I watched a documentary on Henry Ford, also on Amazon Prime video. It's crazy to see how it all fell apart.

I’m a big fan. With Top Gear and the Grand Tour basically being the same show it’s like I get twice as much. I heard the 4th season was already set to go but I could be wrong

Clarkson needs to apologize to the BBC and Oisin Tymon again and beg for his job back and then the BBC needs to suck it up and rehire him.

Enjoyed episode 1. "Car comes stock with one seat. But for one dollar you get the rest." Funny if true.

Upcoming episodes look good too and don't forget their new tag. #AMAZONSHITCARSHOW. Hilarious.

Albeit seemingly unlikely this is something I would also like to see one day in a perfect world. I love the grand tour but there's something about those three on Top Gear together...

Luckily we can enjoy what this current series has to offer though and my fingers are crossed for at least another season.

I'm sure that Clarkson et. al. are making a heck of a lot more money from Amazon than they ever made from the BBC.

I quit watching past E2 S1. Hopefully it's gotten better (as some have implied). I still think that Clarkson is a bigoted jerk, but admittedly entertaining.

I am.

Clarkson is a Yorkshireman, just like me. We have a habit of speaking undiplomatically at times. I normally say something enlightening and then apologise for being a jerk after thinking about it or reading it back.

Anyone catch the latest 2 Part series? Another bore so far. This is the stuff I was mentioning before and also the end of last season. A solid hour of them messing around that could've been compacted into 30 minutes or less. Who's writing this stuff? And a two part episode as well. Sitting here about to start the second part of their Colombia trip. Hope it gets somewhat better.

Yep. I skipped ahead after 20 minutes or so. Then shut it off. What a waste.

Well, I thought it was pretty funny! My teenage kids loved it .... they have zero interest in cars, it’s just the laddish pranks and banter ...

i think it's had its day, its peak was about 5 years ago, the three of them are now tiresome, they have come out of it with astronomical sums for what really? a bit of jokey sarcastic behaviour, with a bit of car testing thrown in, i liked them years ago, but its all being done on you**** now by many people aswell.

Something is missing from the magic of Top Gear, but I still like the show. (It's still better than the new Top Gear). I'm looking forward to their next old Italian car challenge as apparently they buy a car I have. I hope they don't diss it.

If I want to see stuff about cars I just watch Chris Harris from top gear on YouTube, or some other good reviewers.

The messing around from Jeremy, James and Richard is just mindless funny entertainment.
I thought that they were 'trying too hard' in Season 1 but 2 was mostly fun to watch. Going to watch the first three episodes of season 3 this weekend.

I've enjoyed their shenanigans of the past too. But, it's just not the same. Or maybe I'm getting old? lol. But watching a Panda, Jeep, and a show truck driving in Colombia was just....boring and cringe inducing. Don't get me started on the donkey part as well.

I think this sums it up pretty perfectly.

Wish it wasn’t the case as I was a huge fan.

It’s not what it used to be but I still really enjoy it. I wish they did more exotic car reviews and head-to-head comparisons but I’ll take what I can get. Better than watching The Real Housewives or something about the Kardashians with my wife
