Icon17 Allure of REFLECTIONS (Deepsea)

Starting a new series here. The filters came in for the S3 but I found out after the fact that I need adapters to use 'em... Figured, can't beat the reflections, then to roll with it.

As with the Dark and Moody series, it's interesting to see how the lighting changes the dynamics (and in this case, reflections) of each picture depending on where/how it falls on the Deepsea.

Those are the coolest pics I've seen of the Deep Sea. Amazing macro shots and lighting. Thanks for sharing!

Finally someone that can capture the beauty of the DS. I love the domed crystal, nothing like it out there IMO when it comes to how it makes the dial look.

Anyway you could take some shots from say arms length? I love the look of the crystal at that distance, yet have not been able to capture what it really looks like via photos.

Thx! And I have to agree, despite whatever misgivings I've had about the domed x'tal and how it distorts the dial from certain angles, coupled with the lack of AR, it's actually grown on me for its beauty as "reflected" in my pics.

Shoot me an email and I reply with the originals attached.

Moby, just realized I wasn't quite sure what profile you were looking for so I took these sample shots:

Any of them it or if you show me a sample I'll try to take 'em in this style.

Cheers,
Tim

Can you take another pic like that but can you hide the watch holder and maybe zoom a little more so the watch is like 2/3 size of the screen? That would be a killer desktop wallpaper.

Here you go (shoot me an email if you want original size @ 2816 x 2112)

Sorry I know it's a little dark, but otherwise at this range, there is a ton of internal reflection from the crystal and it'll end up looking like this (don't have an adapter to mount my polarizer yet):

Or you can take a look at my other posts with tons of SDDS pics.

Cheers,
Tim
