#2 regularly goes for low to mid $20s. I have bought and sold one in that context in the last 12-18 months. I think the black and white racing dials were less popular for whatever reason, and the new dials seem to be holding their value. It's an odd disparity in my opinion, which is why I bought the racing dial :)

edit: Thinking about it further it's probably just down to age. The one you listed is "UNWORN" and I think this dial is discontinued so unworn models may be listed high because of that? Low to mid 20k has generally been the ask for excellent condition preowned white racing dials in recent times.

Yes but not for the Panda dial, you can buy for 20k many racing dials but not the Panda.

#1 by 1000000miles.
#2 just has too much going on in my opinion. Never been a fan of watches with numbers. Love the sticks

I have number 2 and I love it but I’d be happy with either.

I understand guys all your comments, finally I decided number 2. My wife has the WG Oysterflex and I think is better to have something a bit different.

Thank you all !!!

I own #1, and love it to pieces. Gorgeous dial, yet low-key.

I like the contrast of the subdials on the lighter dial of #2, but agree with others that with the three hands, three subdials, three subdial hands, chronograph bezel and branded rehaut, there isn't really enough space to throw arabic numbers in there as well without it looking too busy. You can tell there isn't enough space, because they had to give up after only doing 8 out of 12 of them. :) The stick markers are a cleaner look. So I would have gone #1.

If you had told us earlier that your wife had the WG oysterflex with the same dial, I think you might have converted more people say go for #2 instead of their first choice of #1, as it might be a bit strange walking round looking like twins.

They're both nice watches - enjoy!

I fully understand your point, when you see the watch live, you barely see the numbers they are melted with the dial color. I see the subdial contrast and the main hands. -:)

#1. Dial is busy enough without the numerals.

Both are nice, but the Racing dial is more unique and legible.

26 people prefer this Racing Panda vs 40 people that prefer the slate grey.

I finally decided to go for the Panda.........
