Hands-on Royal Oak Extra-Thin Tourbillon Platinum ref. 26510PT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

In my opinion this is the grail of all grails. Simply amazing in the metal and its fumé dial is gorgeous. Enjoy!

Ehhhh I disagree. I don't care for it. The 15202 platinum openwork to me is still higher than this.

Great review. Since you saw them back to back how does the grey compare to the grey on the new Royal Oak? Thanks

I'm with you between this one and the new platinum Royal Oak Offshore I could have the two watches for the rest of my life and I wouldn't need anything else.

Quite different in terms of hue. This one is closer to the hue of the new ROO in platinum.

Amazing. That's the complete package. It would take a long time to get tired of wearing that every day. If you could get it at $150k or $160k it would also be a great value.

Great review, thanks. Would be a nice if they offered a fume dial RO for under $200k though Fume dial jumbo would be really interesting.

First time of setting my eyes on this watch and it's amazing, the dial is hmmmmm

OP: a quick question and as you have extensive knowledge and handling of these models can I ask about the standard RO Vs Extra thin
AP states the 15202 is 8mm thick where as the 15400 is 9mm does that's 1mm really make the difference?
Not picking fault but this review says the UT Platinium tourbillon is 41mm in size and described as being extra thin yet at a case thickness of 8.85mm so pretty much the same spec as the standard 15400.
Or are they referring to extra thin while still housing a tourbillion?

The 1mm makes a difference. Also the bracelet is thinner.

The 15400 is 9.8mm thick according to the official website info. So
15202 - 8mm
Ultra thin tourbillons - 8.85mm (8.95 for the ultra thin skele tourb)
15400 9.8mm

Just checked and yes on the AP site it lists 9.8mm however on the AP app it's does list 9mm hence where my info came from.

And the 15202 is 8.1mm on the site.

Yeah I just noticed that too. I would imagine the 9.8mm figure to be the more accurate one :) I wonder how they got the thickness wrong on their app though haha

Great pics and write up!

The dial side of this watch is stunning, but I do feel that the backside leaves a bit to be desired.
