Superb - that's stunner big congrats
Did u have much of a wait to get the piece by going via APSC? Alistair mentioned to me last time I was there that they could order in a watch & deal direct.

Not long. They had one in a month ago that I saw but I was in no hurry, so it went to another party. Mine is the second one they have had. For a while I was debating between the blue and brown, but the blue with RG is perfect!

Awesome! I don't think there's anything I'd change on that design. Doesn't the RG just shimmer?

Loving it. I've ordered a black strap & a black rubber for it though to tone it down a bit. It's very bling in a good way. Lol.

I'm getting a blue rubber strap, which I think will really set it off. I do like the blue. For me a black strap wouldn't work, if honest.

I love the detail on the dial, just a shame I can't see it normally with my dodgy old eyes!

Fantastic close-in pics, Chris! Dial detailing is superb on the ROCs, I took some of my old one and held my breath, but it all looked good.

It is perfect. In the c/up pic it looks like some of the 'blocks' haven't been engraved properly, but they have. The engineering is precission and it is a pity it can't be seen by the naked eye!

good lordy, the close-ups on the OR blue dial truly show how masterful that thing is.
i see a full OR bracelet version of the same model currently in the classifieds section...makes me think is it too much of a good thing?!

Had a bit of a scare last night when I came to change the time on the watch. I assumed, as with all my other watches, that pulling the crown out to the final position would both move the hour and minute hands and also stop the small seconds hand, but it didn't, it stays running. I thought there was an issue with the watch, but apparently no, you can't freeze the secs at 6 hand on these for 'hacking'.

Anyway, a couple more pics:

I see lots of Navitimers on blue straps. This is perfection of that theme. Great looking combination!

It is. I'm hoping the blue rubber strap fits and works ok, as I think that will finish the watch off very nicely indeed.

That's odd, I thought the movement was just a 3120 w/ chrono module added - and the 3120 does hack.

Thank you for the awesome pics, BTW. What camera are you using for those dial macros?

thats the ROO chronograph movement with the 3120 with a chronograph module.

The RO Chrono uses (AP 2385) the F. Piguet calibre 1185 which is an outstanding movement and probably part of the reason AP seems in no hurry to release an in-house version. Its thinner than the 3120+ module so its really the only option for the RO case.
