Acquired JLC Tribute Deep Sea Memovox (Alarm) today
After lots of flipping, for a sports watch (Patek 5712, Patek 5164A, Rolex Red Submariner Mark IV, Blancpain Leman Flyback Chrono), I have finally settled for the Jaeger Deep Sea Memovox Tribute to 1959.
Not sure what to think of it after all those flipping. But surely it is a fine looking watch, perfect 40.5mm size, discreet and "uncommon" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Changed the strap to a RAF strap. And I have also ordered a genuine vintage Tropic strap yet to be received. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I've had mine for 5 years now (I am a chronic flipper as well with 100+ hi end watches that have come and gone over the years). DSA is an iconic watch (or at least the original diver was). I never grow tired of mine - it's perfect in its simplicity, yet has a fun complication. Try listening to the alarm under water!
The Rolex nurd in me can only dream of a "Tribute to 6542" reissue Congratulations - hope you manage to keep it |
