1. That is one of the most beautiful 5512's, be careful when you first get it back and start wearing it. Staring at it while walking or driving could be very dangerous.

2. Be they Rolex or not, c'mon, let's see the other watches he gave as gift to you.

3. "I was telling him about when I bought my first 2 tone in 2002 during the Olympics that I bought it with money that our Grandma (his Mom) left every grand kid when she passed. I told him I thought of her often and wasn't it cool I bought something that has actually increased in value with a little care. Obviously he was impressed, because he gave me 3 watches and told me to take care of them. GLADLY! ;-) Too cool. "

If that isn't "gifted" then nothing is. ;>) If you had said that every time you look at the time you think of your Grandma and the whole family I would have put you as not just "gifted" but as full genius.

I'm still trying to track down the box and papers, but don't know how much luck I'll have.

Pictures of the project to come soon. Thanks for all the shout outs! Chris
Phillip is the man. Recently did some work on my 1675 , super easy to contact and the work is fantastic

Wow, that is a beautiful 1675! Exclamation point dial, PCG, CR, gilt, pretty much have it all except the underline and the OCC.

UPDATE: Due back later this week. Phillip with Watchmaker's Int has been doing a wonderful job on this vintage 1961- 5512. Before and after pics coming soon.

Phillip sourced a period correct, tight, immaculate 7206 bracelet for this watch. As well as some other period correct parts. The service and band are very spendy, but well worth it for this amazing piece. The dial and face on this watch are in superb condition. So excited to see it all put together!

Beautiful watch and good call on Bob and Phillip. They service my '72 5513 and I was very impressed with their communication, suggestions, and quality of work.

Looking forward to the "during service" pics. I know they take awesome shots as they work.

I'd be pretty concerned if a ex point dial had an underline or OCC for that matter to be honest!

The makeover and service are complete

Thank you to Phillip Ridley with Watchmakers Int. on doing such a fine job on my 5512. I'll take some pics of it on my wrist with the band too, but these are just a few.
