Levenger Decathalon...

Anyone use this before, its fairly inexpensive and has a steel nib?

I used to consistently get a Levenger catalogue, but haven't seen one for a long time. Nice leather goods, do they still send out catalogues?

Randy, that looks like a nice pen. I can't attest to how the Decathalon writes, but if it's anything like my approximate 10 year old Levenger True Writer (with a steel nib) it should be a pleasure.

From what I have heard in the pen club I belong to the steel nibs on those Levengers write really well. I have not heard anything bad said about the company or the quality of writing, it looks a lovely pen

I'm very pleased with how mine performs, more so on "good" paper.
