Put both Explorer and AK side by side then you will know which one is SO boring...

U got to see both of them in person !!!

If you want to own ONLY one Rolex, then Explorer it is, else AK is the collector's piece.

ExpI is simply the better looking watch of the two.

It depends. If this is a first/only Rolex, go with the explorer. It is timeless. If you have a decent collection already, Air King is such a unique watch to add to any collection.

Explorer for me, the most simple and elegant sports watch in the line up.

I am quite biased towards the Explorer I, classic piece and you can wear it on all occasions. Which one speaks to you more on an emotional level? Are you into aviation, do you like the great outdoors? Maybe that could guide your decision.

100% agree with this but buy explorer one, the more people that hate the air king the better for me.
