How does the market perceives the new RQ?
My guess is that it’s RQ where Q is Quatre, or the 4th version of the R, which stands for Resonance.

I have an RT, the 3rd version, Trois. 2nd was RN however and 1st was R.

RQ is sold out for the next 2 years so that should give you an indication.

Thanks for your explanation

Great to see the model doing so well.

Congratulations again! Fantastic addition. And I love it on the khaki green strap. I have it as well - it works perfectly with it.

Enjoy!

Here are the two big guys next to each other. The RQ is a much later purchase. Great advice keeping both, y’all. The CS is ordered for a December delivery and will complete “The Trilogy”

Wow! Is that world wide? I knew this year (2020) was sold out, but I was going to ask for next year. Just about a month ago, I did ask a boutique and they replied that they can take a deposit for next year (2021) and may confirm the delivery date as toward end of this year. But I am not sure if I put down a deposit then it means lock in current price or whatever price at delivery time?

I believe it is. Remember Journe only makes <900 pieces per year. Yes, if you put in your deposit now I think you're looking at either end 2021 or early 2022.

I just placed a deposit for the boutique blue dial QP perpetual calendar and was told likely delivery second half of next year. I imagine it’s even longer for the RQ.

They've been averaging ~700/yr for the last 2-3 years, actually. So it's even worse.

And you're absolutely right. 2021 or 2022 makes sense when you factor this in.

Hi, Chase. Did you have the opportunity to look at the 40mm RQ as well? If so, any thoughts about how it looks; sits on an average wrist? Thanks.

Just the 42mm. I can say the watch was made for the 42mm case but I’m sure it squeezes into 40mm just fine.

Regarding winding.

I have found that if I turn my resonance upside down to wind, so my thumb turns the crown from the back, that it winds similar to conventional watches.

Winding Upside down provides much faster winding as well
