Thoughts on the Old Forester Birthday Bourbon? I get two bottles of Pappy a year. My guy promised me a bottle of OFBB when they come out in September. Never had it, so looking forward to it.

Excellent! I haven’t had 2020 but I generally think m10 rye is delicious. Not a popular opinion but I prefer it to the newer buffalo trace sourced VWFR.

I really love the 2019 release. Who knows what 2020 will bring. The only van winkle releases that can hang with 2019 BB would be 15 or 20 for me. It’s far better than the ORVW or lot B.

If you like Buffalo Trace have you tried Eagle Rare? Same company but since its slightly more expensive its actually usually easier to get. I like rye and scotch more but Eagle Rare is my go to bourbon

Yup. Love it. Seems just as hard to find right now in my area (CT). From what I've read, BT is presently having a general shortage. My local tells me they never know when they're going to get a shipment of any of their products.

Blanton's in particular is nearly impossible to find.

My go to daily is Woodford. I like it, it's reasonably priced, and it's always on the shelves.
