Platinum, makes it a less "mainstream" watch

First generation sparkly platty dial for the win, with rhodium a close #2. .

I've always loved the platinum but if I ever went with a YM again I'd likely give the rhodium a shot.

Blue or Rhodium for me. I think I would likely go with a rhodium.

Blue really differentiates this imo and the poll results support it.

My favorite might be the matte black with rose gold surrounds...on the 116655.

But for the steel/plat models I'm still torn between the platinum and blue. The rhodium does nothing for me in person.

Definitely blue. I was lucky enough to chat to a gorgeous Latin lady who told me the blue yatchmaster was her all time favourite watch, and how good it looked on me. First time I have blushed since school ☺️.

Voted Platinum but like the blue as well. I prefer the LB Sub for blue dialed watch. I will say the Plat YM was one of the most comfortable sport watches I ever owned. Easy to wear.

Like the blue the best; I find the lack of contrast on the Pt annoying.

Current 6 digit version blue for me.

Early 5 digit version takes the cake IMO. The platinum dial looked like it had big metal fake in it and shined beautifully. Also the YATCH-MASTER was in bold red text and really stood out.

I wear the 5 digit platinum dial almost everyday. As much as I love the 6 digit blue dial, (and I really do!) it is locked away.
The platinum dial YMs will become more valuable for good reasons stated by many others.

My wife has a blue dial mid sized Yachtmaster. I have one with a Serti dial. I like them both. :)
