Days where I wonder why I did what I did??
So about a year or more ago, I brought the BB Red in bracelet..... This year to fund other watches, I sold it. Then 6 months later.. I re-brought it but with the updated version and in leather band instead of the bracelet. Got a great price for it as well. I guess the gold indicators, the cream colored dots are what made me miss this watch. Also I realized that the leather band felt more comfortable than the bracelet. I do enjoy the 72 hour power reserve which is an upgrade than the previous version. But I DO miss the rose logo...Oh well I guess it's part of collecting!

I have owned several Black Bays and they are fine watches. I prefer the in-house movement but understand the loss of the logo. I will buy the same watch as you but will do it on metal. I still own the leather from a previous ownership experience. Great watch.

It's like dating the same girl twice. I can end in marriage or not well.

Love the BBR on leather...been tempted many times to pull the trigger on that one.
As far as dating the same girl twice...I'm not even going to touch that one. |

I did that with the same girl; also bought a leather strap for my BBR to go along with the bracelet. I still have both but the girl and I are coming up on a 32 year wedding anniversary in 17 days, fwiw.

Days where I wonder why I did what I did??
I guess when something catches my eyes I'd rather keep a 770 HP vette, a large boat, RV, and things that go bang. The boat and RV aren't "investments" per say bit I've never hooked a 650 billfish with a watch, but guns( just in the investment sense) are just as good if not better than watches. But I love to flip and always do ok so why not. If I had millions in the bank I'd have them all but I don't so I must compromise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
