Collection update… what is next

Spent the past 12 years to get this collection which i keep at my bank (only 1-2 watches are kept at home at one time)… with the past 7 years focusing on Patek… not sure what is next, but i dont feel i am done. I am not an acqanaut fan and the grand complications are growing on me. This is why i got the 5270P lately. I appreciate that you Give me your views on what you think the next interesting piece can be. I have one year to decide!!

Amazing collection. I love the variety. Curious to see what the other day. IMHO this is fantastic and nothing jumps out at me in terms of what to bring on board.

What a great collection you got! It's not easy suggesting the next piece for you but would you consider the blue 5370p?

An Aquanaut chrono would be great too.

Wonderful collection, love your 5270P! A WG on bracelet would be a nice addition and there is no better WG QP than the 5740, the nautilus king imo. It is also a nice lighter blue than your 5711 and 15202. You could trade in your 5990 towards the 5740 since you already have a SS nautilus in the 5711 and a GMT in your world timer.

You are ready for an application piece from Patek. I would talk with your AD to see which watch you can apply for. Maybe an enamel dial WT may be a reasonable first time application piece.

very nice collection indeed! Personally I think you're covered with Patek and I'd personally add a VC or interesting independent watches perhaps even lange.

Nice collection.

Years ago I closed out my bank safe deposit box after reading an article in The NY Times. Banks are not insured by FDIC safe deposit boxes if contacts are damaged or stolen. This article referenced the bank that burned to the ground and all the people that had safe deposit boxes contents were not covered unless they were policy. Just thought I’d pass along the information, although I, certain must of us has our watches covered with our personal insurance policies

5370P, split-seconds chronograph
or
5372P, split-seconds chronograph with perpetual calendar.

Here you go :)

Great collection!

I’d vote for a manual chronograph - 5172g. Or an automatic PC - 5320g.

If you’re willing to take a Patek break, go find a Journe. You should jump right into an Optimum for a good time.

Otherwise, 5370p or even grab a 5970 from the Lemania Era. I personally want to grab the 5970j. Patek yellow gold is so good.

Don’t sleep on a Lange either. The finishing is up there with Patek.

Branch out, much more to see than Patek.

Optimum or Datograph Up/Down are wonderful strap watch choices.

An important PP collection for sure.

You seem to go to very “complicated busy” dials IMHO, would you consider a minimal design and light color dial?

Beautiful collection. How about a pop of coulour with a painted world timer? Personally I like the 5235 as something a little different.

Also, I am looking at some other brands. Journe, Lange, Moser and Laurent Ferrier. Some stunning pieces imho. Picking up a streamliner centre seconds later this year.

Amazing.

But this must be the very first large collection I´ve seen without a single Rolex?

Looks like you have the entry-level and mid-level bases covered. Next... something with a tourbillon or minute repeater. Your collection desperately needs something of true top-shelf statement quality.

You have all the top end watches covered
You need some less expensive watches and few super expensive watches

The less expensive depending what hobby do you like and what is your priority
If you love cycling in average neighbourhood getting along with people in local coffee shop, I recommend a Tudor Black Bay or Omega Sea Master

For the extremely expensive watch to add : I recommend either Patek minute repeater or independent watch makers if you like driving Mercedes Limousine, Rolls Royce hanging around with the President of USA and the top bankers talk about what will be the next policy on interest rates and so on.
