Vintage Tudor Sub Service?

My mom is looking to have her 1979 Tudor Sub serviced, however, the Tudor boutique here in Los Angeles(Century City), took the watch in and said they couldn't service the watch due to age. Any recommendations on a reputable service option in Los Angeles or West Coast ideally? Thank you in advance.

A few years back I had my 1992 Tudor Sub serviced, it had to go to Geneva. It lived a hard life. When it finally returned from Rolex I got a nice note from them saying they still made watches and I should consider buying a new watch because parts were so rare for my Tudor sub that they might not be able to restore it again if I inflicted the same degree of damage again. 29 years is a long time to go between service. If you want to keep the patina the watch has, you’ll need to find a restoration watchmaker. If Rolex has parts they might be able to restore it. As for the Tudor boutique telling you thay can’t fix it, they did you a favor by saying they couldn’t. Anything is repairable it all depends on what you want to pay. Best of luck
