Did you acquire all these just in 2021? What can you do for 2022 now?

And why is everyone getting their incoming 5740 except me.
Thx!

Some of the nautilus i got years ago. Let’s see how my AD can offer for next year. Finger cross. I have a few pieces in mind that i would like to add on.

I hope u can get your 5740 soon.

I’m not jewelry store for sure.
Just that i more concentrate on PP now. I have few other brands like rolex, AP. But not much. I have been collecting watches way before hype now. When nautilus and aquanaut still on display and can be bought for a discount. I like sports model all along from beginning.

It would be good if you wear them though, they don't look worn at all.

I wear most of my watches in rotation.

Thx!

I was having lunch with someone with the full collection too, along with the 3700.

I looked at the black chunky watch on his wrist, and asked what was he wearing. He said, it's a Seiko... plain cheap one.

Nice collection

Just curious, do you really own 2x 5980, 5740 and 5726? or is it just two different pictures assembled?

LOL. My first thought as well but it is 2 different shots, same 5740 I guess.

Congrats on your new acquisition, OP!

And great shot to compare different Nautilus. If I had to pick just one I'd get 5711 blue again. If two I'd probably add 5740 and be done with it. Also like 5712 but not interested in the others.

I am not linked to the OP, but your answer was as much as mine towards yours: Not requested

OP has the chance to buy the hottest watches on the mkt, and apparently he has the financial resources to do so, so why shouldn't he? To leave available a Nautilus for you? Why would he do that?

Happy new year folks, enjoy the journey

is there a point of having two pieces of the exact same watche and metal?
unless you are planning to resell....you are taking an allocation from someone who perhaps doesn't even have one nautilus!!

sorry OP, i don't think its right to take advantage like that. just my humble opinion

To the OP. It seems like your Patek collection is almost all on Nautilius and Aquanauts. Does you AD carry other goodies to help you build the relationship or you have another epic collection of PP which is hidden from sight? :-)

Just curious.

Mine is scheduled as a 2023 as there is one more customer ahead of me but my AD keeps teasing me that anything can happen... (And that's not funny )

I think there is an old saying in watch collecting that goes something like:

Buy one for keep and one for sale

IMHO, if he has this level of relationship with his AD, he probably deserves it since for most mortals, it is not possible as my AD told me that PP does scrutinize if the same buyer is getting too many hot pieces without a good portfolio of PPs. So getting two of the same is probably only happens to the best customer in PP's view (not the AD)

BTW, I think he did clarify that he does not have two of the same.
