Couldn't agree more. Love my Bluesy on the bracelet but sometimes it's just too flashy. With my Bluesy on the Rubber B it makes it look more subdued but still sporty.

That actually looks more comfortable than rubber. My concern has been the rubber being hot and sweaty. Who makes that?

The cheapest solution to scratch the desire for something new. Fresh new look, easy swap back.

I like the rubber straps for warmer weather.

That is still rubber. Google "Tropic strap". Uncle Seiko makes a really nice one for not a lot of money.

They do say wearing rubber makes one more care free, so to speak

No way. I LOVE the old bracelet and the new, mind you, but sometimes a change up is great. The Rolex bracelet is a super design but most are just metal in the end. The watch head itself is where all the magic happens. And you still get that with a strap.

I'm a purist and would never mess with the configuration of my submariners. I like the watch just as it left the factory. I admire the heft and feel of the watch, and the band is an integral part overall. I especially would never alter an expensive Rolex watch costing several thousands of dollars by attaching a relatively inexpensive rubber band. Just my .02

That's a fair point, and I appreciate it (and I LOVE mine on bracelet too) but to continue the conversation… how "expensive" do you think the steel bracelet really is? And I don't mean what they charge. Consider the cost of a knock off, which is basically the same thing. I'm just saying that IMO, the REAL quality in most Rolex watches is not in the bracelet.

The right strap on the right Rolex will make it pop on the wrist!

I've bought from Dave there as well. Great guy and great straps!

I'm ok with rubber straps with straight 'end links.' The ones that are rounded to match the shape of the case between the lugs (so there are no gaps) just don't look right, IMHO.

Funny thing, I see it exactly opposite. If it’s not fitted ends I think it looks

They're fine, although I never purchased a rubber strap for my Submariner due to Glidelock, which addresses the reason I had a rubber strap for my Breitling.

Rolex don't look best on a rubber strap, but it is very acceptable and we can only appreciate it.

It's the least guilt inducing way of almost experiencing a new watch
