Patek new model line

Patek will soon introduce a new model line for the first time since 1999. Looking forward to later this year or next.

I have a hard time imagining where they go with it. Interesting for sure.

hopefully faux embossed carbon-look isn't part of the plan.

Thanks for sharing! I tried but can't imagine what they are going to release. They have almost everything in their line up. Maybe these are concepts by his 2 boys...

I’m going to make a guess and say it’s going to be a line of metal bracelet dress watches. Something along the lines of Twenty-Four but for men. Might be terribly wrong.

I’m going to guess that whatever it is I would be getting one because my AD was dropped by Patek LOL!

Exactly.

Seeing this year's releases including 6007G I thought it is about time Patek think out of the box again and come up with a new model line.

I am certainly looking forward.

Smart watch integrated function that allows the wearer to send an email using a tool actuated pusher to enter Morse code. Featuring an enamel dial so that EMAIL on the dial will be even more ambiguous to English speakers.

We might finally see a Patek with a non-metal bezel?

A “proper dive watch”, a la a Rolex Sub, but nicely finished to Patek’s standards.

The article is behind a paywall. Does it give an ETA of when the new model may be expected?

“The design is done, and the prototype is ready and really, I like it”. "The new model line is expected to be unveiled later this year, or next year once all the final elements are in place." - Thierry Stern, 2023 Watches and Wonders.

Please let it not be an Offshore version of the Aquanaut.

I sure hope it's not similar to the Vacheron FiftySix line.

My guess is an answer to the Code 11.59. Although I could also see something like the Vacheron FiftySix line. I find the Calatrava line is getting more and more confused (or, at the very least, less and less pure). I think Patek will do something in between dress and sport. I would be surprised if Patek goes more sporty (like an offshore version of the Nautilus).

Dead serious. What do you think it is?

Patek is getting increasingly casual, I could see a sporty-dress range. I’m not saying it will look anything like the Code 11.59, but something with crossover.

yes this makes sense - keep the nautilus PM and use steel to build demand for another line

this is pretty mind blowing

“We have people who are passionate about watches and who can spend a maximum of $30,000 or $40,000 on a watch — which is already a lot of money.”
