So you've picked two other watches with grossly mismatched movements for their cases. What is your point?

Multiple things can be true at the same time.

I don't think the VC is mismatched. Fine looking watch. Compared to others it is even better matched.

This has always been an appreciation thread for overseas with daily pics and incoming and not a Reddit style armchair quarterback expert negativity thread.

Several people posted their very dramatic opinion without an ounce of subtlety and I find it to be incorrect. I showed an example of what constitutes undersized by my estimation as well as a similar ratio movement in the nautilus which is highly regarded.

I apologize if I offended anyone.

Where did you get the third party rubber strap? It looks decent. I'd like to find more color options for myself.

Thanks. From what I can tell, the green is a perfect blend of subtle and “alive”. It’s not too muted / drab olive nor is it too “sunbursty”.

For those considering it, this reference wears amazingly well -- the case is thin and the legibility is fantastic. And the open beating heart is mesmerizing.

Someone on this forum mentioned around 42.5Ł or $46k. Not sure the validity of this estimate.

58,500 CAD listed on the Canadian site. The price has since been taken off oddly. Other overseas models are priced at 1:1.22 exchange rate to the usd so my guess is itll retail in the sub 48k usd range

It was an estimate by the boutique, given to the store manager in London so should be close to accurate

I’ve seen the white and black dials at retail, but the lowest I’ve seen the blue dial has been in the 25-26k range

Mine was up for 5 months, like-new, less than 2 years old, by far the cheapest in whole Europe, finally someone bought it at rrp, neting me below current rrp... Some US pieces are already below EU RRP and no sales tax here to be added. Demand is up as collectors want to own it, but grey market for this piece (and pretty much everything else) is dead

So you are saying the grey market prices are pie in the sky? I really hope so, because on average, I'm still seeing blue dials at around $7k above retail....and these are used pieces, not new-old stock or new.

Yep, these are not moving. Pretty sure 80% of those watches are up for more than 3-6 months with no or very little movement. For about 3 months I tracked the 10 cheapest piece there, 1 got sold in China, 2 were reducing prices (and still up).. LB offered $19k for mine to give an idea what dealers would pay (UK retail is currently about $27k with tax included)

In that case, for the blue Overseas, is there any benefit to going with the boutique vs. purchasing grey at this point?

You get to build a record and access the other high complication pieces (if you're interested in them)

Appreciate all the colour though... but as someone pointed out, even if they trade below retail you aren't getting them from the boutique as they're not printing them like subs...
