Was the more recent seller advertising the watch and how was it described if so? As this watch appears to be as it left Rolex service, that might have raised the possibility that the insert had been replaced. If he wasn't advertising it, did you simply make an offer to buy it based on what you saw and your own knowledge?

Hi Enjoy a fabulous watch : Haywood Milton did a right up a few years back : Out of the blue RSC started dropping flat four inserts in at service it caused quiet a stir

There is a right up either on here or on his web site https://www.miltonsjewellers.com

In my humble opinion, the bezel is not the original one issued when the watch was sold from the AD.
