same goes for anyone who wants to start a new relationship with AP, almost impossible, at least here in Singapore.
imagine sitting thru like an interview, for them to profile you, asking questions like your job, your annual income etc.

at least rolex staff just gives you the attitude without the interview.

both suck for new and younger clients which are going to be their future, but instead they prefer having business done with old timers.

AP has “ruined” Rolex for me

No, I started buying through an AD that I had a very long standing relationship with (bought my first Tag Heuer age 12 from them), then bought Omega, Panerai, Rolex, AP. Then I started getting invited to the golf events by APUK and got to know the team through that, I’ve known the top dude at AP House for 12 or more years. I think there must be a client profile database so new staff to the business know what you’re like as a client. In my case I’m not a rich guy compared to most people on this forum and I can only buy a watch a year.

TBH the only time I’ve felt like I’m in an interview and questions were veering towards annual income was in Richard Mille in Harrods and it completely put me off the brand especially because the RM employee asking the (none of your f***ing business) questions had badly bleached hair, chipped nail polish and cheap clothes, she was a complete chav, I’ve never been interested in RM since.

Could be AP Buying Experience has ruined Rolex Buying Experience for me.
I couldn't buy even a 31mm datejust (waited almost a year without any hope) while getting Royal Oak 37mm was easier. So, sold all Rolex (Daytona, Sub, GMT) and never regret.

I think he’s still in “Shady Pines” home for mentally challenged old folks with an AP branded straight jacket on………
