For sure it's solid gold, it could be rhodium plated on the white gold to make it brighter, that's what he wanted to say I guess. It's the case on the Code WG if I am not wrong, it needs to be confirmed.

You’re right. In this video at around 0:50 he explains it as white gold with the a thick plating of a platinum like substance (maybe rhodium). I thought that’s quite interesting.

All white gold AP watches are solid 18k white gold with rhodium plating. I saw the process during a tour
