Seemingly unnoticed demise...

Combing through the Tudor website, I just realized that it seems Tudor has axed the entire Style lineup. Looks like it went unnoticed around here, but perhaps that's the point: seems it went unnoticed when it was alive, too.

As a fan of midsize watches, I always liked that a 34mm was available, but the proportions were always off to my eye. Only versions I really liked were the leather strap ones from a few years ago, since they (sort of) had that vintage Oyster look.

We also still have the Prince line (36, 34 and 32mm), which is even better...last of the old Oyster cases with lug holes, with many configs on offer.

Is the Prince Day Date not available in the U.S.?

That's awesome, wish those could be had elsewhere! Curious, is only the DD in 36, or does the Date come that way, too?

Out of curiosity, what's the HKD retail on all-steel, non-diamond 34mm Date? Just torturing myself in terms of what I'm missing out on.

Crap. Now I need to find a friend going to HK looking to ferry a watch back. Really liking that silver linen dial especially.

They call it mosaic. Should be able to find one new from a HK or Japan seller on eBay or Chrono.

Pretty sure heritage chrono is gone too. (not sure if it’s been discussed)

I think they went a couple of years ago, but I just noticed the Advisor now also seems to be gone from the Tudor website.

Wait…I could have sworn that they stopped making those a couple of years back. Cool! Was that just the plain bezel D+D that went away, but not the 76214?!

Looks like everything is still available but they changed the reference numbers after they switched from ETA to Sellita based movements I think. (e.g. the 76200 is now the M76200-0009)

Interesting. Can’t seem to find the models for sale in new condition anywhere, and the used ones I see are priced over retail.

Tudor could remove 60% of their lineup and no one would notice and they'd be more profitable as a result.

A few years ago you could get most or all of the Prince range BNIB for 25% discount at many HK outlets/dealers. I guess that's no longer the case so supplies are lower.

I can’t even remember the source where I got my 76200 from HK five years ago.

What’s interesting is that, since Tudor began providing ADs the same type of “feed” as Rolex does for their sites, I can see the Price lineup by going to a Hong Kong AD’s website. Suppose I can always email one as well and see if they ship…

Seems like an exceptional deal at around $2,000 US (assuming they negotiate a bit, shipping isn’t too much, and customs not outrageous). Love those five-digit era cases!
