2006 Rolex Sub Serti (SWISS - T<25 Dial)
Hi forum members.
I have several rolex watches and have recently added a late Rolex 16613 Serti Dial with silver diamond sapphire dial. The watch has full B&P and the serial numbers check out. However on closer inspection the dial has the 6 o'clock designation SWISS - T<25. My research seems to indicate that this designation was stopped several years before the date of my watch....1989 - 1997. can anyone shed any light on this. The only thing I can come up with is that the watch was a NOS when sold in 2006. Is it an anomoly, rarity or could it be a Frankenmonster?? Many thanks in advance |

Your text should read SWISS MADE or SWISS (service dial) from the era; Ime.. Sounds like yours has a dial swap.

Z198.
I suspect it has had a dial swap and as such I have returned the watch for a full refund. I think it was probably a bluesy two tone originally. |

It should also have solid end links from 2006.

The papers would also state Slate Serti on them if it originated that way

Nothing wrong with it having had a dial swap. You can pick up a black or blue dial quite easily and you'll have both, you can also do black or blue bezels, it's a versatile watch that one. If it's in nice condition, keep it.

Not unusual to have a Serti dial swapped into a watch to get the look, or any other dial appropriate for the model.
Not sure why you would send it back if a Serti is what you wanted.

I certainly understand that. It’s best to seek one that was original, and has the original paperwork to back it up. You would never have been able to get RSC service with that swapped dial on Z s/n. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
