AR coating
I see the new subs are going to come with an AR coating, I wonder will it be possible for older model subs going in for a service, to have their non AR crystal replaced with one that has the coating applied?
It would certainly be nice to have the choice, even if it means paying a little extra on top of the price of a new crystal. |

I think that you may be misreading that...
It says: Dial Sapphire, Cyclops with anti-reflective coating. If it's translated andpunctuated properly, it would mean that only the cyclops is coated....the same as the present GMT IIc...

My tired eyes reading this , a full AR coating on the crystal would have been a very nice addition to this watch.

I understand your point Larry but it seems odd that simply the cyclops would be coated. Could it be the entire crystal?

if it's anything like the gmt11c, then the coating will be applied only to the cyclops. of course, it makes too much sense to apply it to the entire crystal!
