Is it just me? The New ceramic green sub keeps old style bluesy style dial!!

Hey Everyone,

It appears that the new green LV stainless steel sub has got the depth and glisten of the old bluesy dial and hasn't taken up the solid blue gloss of the ceramic white gold submariner or even the green gloss of the ceramic 18k GMT.

Is it just me?

Peter

You know, I have been thinking the same way as you whilst out and about today. In fact I would love it if one of the photoshop genius's on the forum could show us what a TT version of this looks like. I reckon the yellow gold indicies and lettering on the bezel along with YG hands would be stunning!

I am a firm fan of this way either way

I think you have missed understood!

I'am suggesting that the new green has a glisten and shine to it like the old bluesy.

It's not like the flat gloss green on the ceramic gmt or the gloss blue on the ceramic white gold sub.

I know exactly what you mean. I have an 'M' TT sub with the anodized dial and it is much more 'iridescent' than the matte look of the new blue ceramic subs.

This new green dial looks anodized too--like the original 16613 dial process. Very cool if that is what they did!

Btw Peter, hope you wore your LV today--I did!! Happy St Patrick's Day

I noticed this immediately too. I always figured they used the smurf blue on the wg model because the glittery blue wouldn't match the ceramic. Now we have a situation where there may not be a perfect match with the greens, but so far I like it. I can't wait to see it in person.
