Must say, I do like all three of the new ones. That green Sub green-on-green is just great!
Usually, if I see an "improvement" in a watch that I have recently purchased, I either wish I had waited, or want to move up to the new model. Fortunately, not the case for me with the Explorer. I do think that Rolex made a good decision, though, in making it larger plus the new movement with Parachrom hairspring, and the upgrade to the bracelet. I think that not only will the 39mm size appeal to those to want a bigger watch, it will also be small enough for those who are happier with a midsize watch and not look too large on the wrist. I am more than happy that I made my choice with the 36mm Explorer in Feb, and I am more than satisfied with it. Had the new one been my only option, I might have hesitated, given that it is now closer to the Milgauss, which I have also.
My only wish, for sometime in the future, would be that the Oyster Perpetual 36mm No Date, be available with a Jubilee bracelet and Rhodium dial with Romans. You can already get the fluted white gold bezel. What I really want is a DJ with no date! (which of course would not be a DJ).
Who knows, maybe when they announce the changes, these things will be included.
Cheers ,
Carl

I suspect that there are plenty of variations yet to be seen... These are just the releases of the absolutelyl new watches... not variations available of already released models..

Any news/pics on variation's from Basel? It's already opened right?

Thank Larry, these are best pixs so far. Unfortunately, only the black Sub turns me on! The rest is like duds to me
