New Sub Owner
Well Guys and Gals, I took the plunge and finally replaced my Tag Heuer 6000 with a new Sub SS, and loving it !! My question is, as I am a little paranoid, I wore my Tag everywhere, for everything, should I do the same with the Sub or baby it a little more ? I know its a matter of opinion, but what does the world of RWF think or do ?? Is the sub sturdy enough for that kind of wear ?
Thanx all !! |

Don't take it off Hubercheck =)
Your Sub can take any abuse you can dish better than any watch on the market. I constantly bang mine on corners and walls, only to freak out and search the watch for any indicator of a scratch and mark and have NEVER found one... Mine is an 8mil serial Sub date from 1984 and doesn't have one scratch anywhere on the crystal, lugs or bracelet. I surf, dive, bike, jog and wear it everywhere. The only time I take it off is for the gym or bed. Enjoy! |

Congrats! Rolex are designed and meant to be worn everyday doing anything you want to do! Don't worry about scratches or anything. Once you take it in for it's routine maintenance it will come back fully polished looking like new! Enjoy!

Congrats! I was extremely paranoid about scratching my 16610 the first couple of weeks. Like me you will probably get used to wearing it and not think so much about where the first scratch will come from.
