Time to remove some stickers - Daytona glory

Talked about this for a while in many of my previous posts... it was with the AD since the summer, paid and in the safe simply waiting for the day I arrive... well finally traveled and picked it up several months later.

Have to say the weight and heft of this is amazing. The OF supports it extremely well and is honestly extremely comfortable.. The perception is that the OF gets more comfortable over time, can only imagine that...

It will be impossible to own stainless Daytona's after this... next will have to be full PM.

Time to remove some stickers now!

Congrats! It’s a great piece. I love the balance of the PM with the Oysterflex. Enjoy the many hours ahead that you’ll be mesmerized by the dial.

Thanks mate! Honestly the dial combo and ceramic bezel is what sold me on this piece....

My favourite Daytona on OF, and possibly favourite Daytona full stop. Gorgeous timepiece.

Pictures really don’t do this watch justice, spectacular in person.

Nice addition!

Yes, I would share that the rubber gets a bit more soft and pliable, especially the inside fins which makes it more comfortable.

I would also add, after having added a 116506 to the collection, my secret confession is that I think the 116519LN gray dial is a sharper looking watch!

Congrats...love it!

FWIW, it's my opinion the only PM that can compete with this watch is the Platona. My two cents.

Congrats! I really love this one and would put this at the top of my Daytona wish list. Could you fit a white gold oyster bracelet on this? That would provide a nice option being able to swap between the Oysterflex and the bracelet.

I wish that was possible, it would be amazing with full bracelet as well.

I am not sure on how its done as I understand there is something different on how this is assembled as you cant easier swap bands... something is under the bezel I believe.. don't quote me but I read something on TRF about that.

I know it has been done though also just dont recall exact procedure.

A) Beautiful watch. Enjoy!

B) You can't switch bracelets because: Rolex.

It’s not hard to own a pm Daytona and a stainless, I did. The hard part is finding a white ceramic at MSRP
