Incoming blnr

Well I got tired of waiting and decided to pay over retail and stop playing the AD game. Thanks to my local guy Anthony the timepiece gentleman for always getting me great watches at great prices. I actually enjoy this more than the oyster version it fits my wrist better. Super happy and I feel relieved I’m not sitting at limbo hoping to get a call from my AD. I figured better buy now before holidays since prices might go up a bit for the holidays.

Congrats!

I get the feeling that the BLNRs are now starting to show a load more into the ADs now.

I think your right. The problem is they are not being sold to the people like us that just want the damn watch. I just got tired of waiting waiting and nothing . I was told I would get the first blnr from my AD and nothing has been offered to me. Time is money at this point and I’m tired of wasting time to look around and call. I Just decided to put it to bed and get the watch and enjoy it. It is a great early Xmas gift to myself.

Time value of money. Love it.

Don't forget to try and get a sub bracelet to go back and forth for the best of both worlds.

I did get him to throw in a black Everest band also. . I didn’t realize a sub bracelet would fit. The truth is I wasted a bunch of cash buying a few watches I didn’t have any to try and get one I really wanted at an AD. For months now part of my brain has been locked on calling around and watching prices and talking to people. I did the math trust me if I would of just bought gray the few watches I wanted it would of still been cheaper. Who would of thought.

Agree , is a beautiful piece, I personally prefers it over the BLRO. I do not know, maybe because is more elegant or the combination of colors... In nay case enjoy. I have been in a list for one for several months now, let's see how long it takes to get one.

Alot do and myself included. I never warmed up to the hue of the ceramic color choices on the BLRO. I even handled a few and turned down one at msrp by a industry friend. The colors just dont go with my style. It is what it is and I am not a flipper or "follow the herd Rolex buyer". That is my personal style and it doesnt take anything away from the BLRO as there is enough divisive "X vs Y" model superiority cliques. The BLRO and BLNR are a great equal force showcasing Rolex's latest advancements and model direction.
On the forum when the BLRO was released the very first day, I said if they do this with the BLNR colors, it will be perfect. Apparently Rolex listened and I just had to wait 18 months.

Congrats nice piece.
I would love to hear a summary of your watch adventures in the last year. I remember when you joined you were buying LOTS of watches with the hopes an AD(s) would reward your business. Sounds like they stiffed you?

Unless he owes you money what do you care? He's a grown up and knows what his time and money is worth.

Some people want the watch and don’t want the wait.
Not worth you worrying about, I’m sure he can make his own choices.

Great looking watch; I just had a talk with my AD, he said the PEPSI is much harder to get these days, the list is so much longer even though I have bought from this AD- he said
"BLNR is the replacement for the black GMT, so we will see more of these coming in for sale, you are more likely to get this watch than a PEPSI". Offered to buy both naturally if it stirs any motivation, but I predict I will have the BLNR much sooner than I will have the Pepsi. I just wish it was still possible to get a black GMT without paying 12K to someone trying to rip me off after they are tired of their 2009 purchase :)
