Thoughts on Moser streamliner flyback chronograph automatic

When it first came out, I did not like it from the pictures I saw. However, after watching Tim Mosso's Watchbox review and seeing it from multiple angles and on the wrist (especially from the side), I am very attracted to it. A contemporary classic? What are your thoughts.

I think it offers a lot of value at the price point. It’s very limited, unique, the movement is a banger, and the design is also unique and well executed. I think Moser as a brand is a little confusing to me, but they are clearly on another level from a creativity and execution standpoint. It was a limited run of 100, have you reached out to see if there are any more available?

I generally don’t favor mosers aesthetic. I find that one very interesting. What a fun watch. It ain’t cheap though

Great video review, thanks for mentioning it. From the first time I saw that watch, I found it extremely interesting. It's very difficult to come by innovative designs these days and they nailed that one. Look at that bracelet!

Always a pleasure watching Tim's reviews. I've reached out regarding availability. Considering it.

Easily the most interesting of new steel sports watches in the last 12-18 months.

Might as well ask George Mayer. He will give you a straight answer and is the go to man at govberg.

I have not yet worked with George. I should introduce myself to him. Enjoy his videos; got me hooked on the F.P. Journe Octa Reserve de Marche.

High quality for sure, lots of effort inside and out. Ugly though. So probably a future highly-sought collectible.

Don’t let Goog take credit. I told him about it before he told you. The Streamliner is the best watch of 2020 above 10k. The Tudor blue BB58 gets my vote below 10k for 2020.

Only 100 of the Streamliners for the world. Rare, killer design and unique! What’s not to like?

I like it a lot but not sure I would select it if I was buying in that price range either.

My thoughts exactly. I love the watch, but at 40K a bunch of great watches are in play.

I really like the watch, personally not a big fan of Chronos, the movement is fantastic, but I think I’ll wait until they come out with a more reasonably priced time and date model. If they reworked their perpetual calendar to make it super shock resistant and put it in this case, that would likely get my money.

That's my dilemma. At that price point, a nice FP Journe is in play.

Resurrecting to say I was wrong! Not ordering it (yet), but having slept on it and seen more photos, and with the blue dial, this is a watch I'd be happy to own.

I really like the blue dial version - if I'd bought the limited edition I might have been quite annoyed that as soon as they'd sold them all they brought out a non-limited edition that looks better!

I've only seen photos and videos but not handled it. I do like this style of chrono without subdials. A cleaner look than e.g. a Daytona which can be somewhat hard to read at a glance due to looking 'busier'.

I am completely smitten with the blue. About a year wait (maybe less) my AD is telling me but very close to pulling the trigger!

Nope I'm 5th in line with deposit at my AD. Thinking about adding the Chrono.
