Ok. Now I'm seriously considering the champagne dial, roman numberal Tudor Date+Day.

This is freaking beautiful!

I know! It took me weeks to decide between this and the black dial. I am loving the black dial but still tempted to get this... Is it too much to have two of these amazing watches?!

Is 2 too much?
Absolutely not. With the discount it seems that it's quite a steal...

You are right of course. I have just got the Tudor Harrods too and yet I have still have an itch for this model - just shows how good it is that it is on my wrist now and not the Harrods.

I own the 76200...the watch is fine. The bracelet is a bit of let down...kind of feels like an older datejust from the 1990s...yes its lighter but not as well made as the new DJ bracelets IMO.

I agree the bracelet is definitely not on the same level as the new DJ bracelets. When I first got the watch the first thing I noticed was how light / jangly the bracelet was with the pressed clasp etc (the bracelet felt like the main compromise and is so different to my other Tudors). However, now I have it properly sized on the wrist it feels very comfortable and I really don't mind it at all - in fact I really like the simplicity and lightness. I still think for the money it is an absolute steal. I suppose part of the appeal for me was wanting to have the kind of DJ NOS experience with a new watch.

Do you have any idea how much it weighs?

Thanks!

Thanks!
I had no idea so I weighed it

The watch weighs exactly 98 grams with 3 links removed or 105 grams with all the links.

Beauty. And a nice step down, weight-wise, from the Black Bays!

Yes definitely. I have got used to wearing the Advisor, the BB41 and the BB58 So this feels a refreshing change. It's unobtrusive because of the size and weight - just feels like a classic.

I would like to take the credit but I read that name somewhere else or perhaps it was on YouTube - I thought it was a clever nickname for the Prince Date+Day. I think the Tudor Glamour line and now Tudor Royal have moved too far away from the President watch in design but this reference still has the key elements so deserves the association. Obviously the PM President is next level in terms of quality and being an icon. I tried it on a while ago and loved it!

Wow- very nice - gorgeous piece!

Problem with coming to this website, I click on a post, start looking around, and come away with a list of 5 watches I want to buy - to add to the list of the 10 others from the last visit.

Wear it well, and congratulations!

the president is too flashy for today's era. I would be very reluctant to wear one even if i had the money (and i don't)

Do you think it is more flashy than say a PM Submariner? I'm not sure because it is smaller and the design lends itself more to PM you could argue? Attitudes to two tone and PM have changed over time but I think you just have to buy what you like and what you are comfortable wearing. Personally I am very comfortable wearing this piece in the same way as my Yacht-Master but I would be careful in some parts of London etc. My ideal PM Rolex is actually the white gold Daytona blue dial which is a bit more under the radar perhaps.
