Hulk is better than the new LVC and it’s not even close. I don’t even consider anyone saying the new LVC is better than the Hulk as a legitimate opinion. Joking, kind of.

Because in 2023 it will be the 70th anniversary of the submariner. I believe the bosses at Rolex will make a new Kermit in 2022/23 with transitional elements towards an all new Sub in 2028 (75th anniversary). My very humble opinion.

Hulk for 2 reasons.
Firstly the sunburst green dial is so much prettier than boring plain black.
Probably even more importantly is the movement, the proven reliable 3135, having personally experienced the 3235 low amplitude issue and Rolex unable to cure it for me I’d never recommend any watch with that movement until they find a permanent fix to the well known problem it has

Have they a history of doing this every 10 years? How ‘all new’ could it be? Genuine questions.

Hulk. The dial is the difference and it’s a big one. It’s a real chameleon.

True...

It screams "look at me!" unless surrounded by more green. If that's what you're after...

Personal preference but I prefer the Hulk because of the green dial. In the right light conditions it is an amazing dial. The Hulk has also been discontinued so paying the Gray premium seems a little more justified to me. The Kermit will be around for a while and we should see the prices settle in the Grey market a bit as more get into the market.

Paying the grey price on the new LV is just silly.
People said the exact same thing when the steel Daytona-C came out. I bought one from David Williams for $16750 (black dial, my preference) in 2017, thinking I was nuts, and sold it about three months later for $16500 to help fund a vintage piece. You’d have trouble finding them now for under $28K.

There is no logic nowadays with Rolex. The market sets the price and if you love a watch enough you just need to pay, or wait to hit the lottery at an AD.

The 12's proportion is better and looks more balance. It is also less "in-your-face". I prefer it to the 11.

I think there is too much green in the Hulk with the dial and bezel. The Kermit has just enough green with the bezel, which is gorgeous—even more so in real life than in pictures. Plus the contrast of the green with the black dial is just amazing.

In the end, be grateful that you have the scratch to buy either and pick the one that sings to you.

Hulk; hands down. Not even close IMO. The new LV does nothing for me. If I was in the market for a new sub, I’d be getting the black.

I really like the Cermit a lot, probably even more than the Hulk but I’m wondering if I should go grey market on Hulk or wait with my AD again for the green 41 or go grey market on the new watch.

It seems they are the same price on the grey market. Any opionions?

Thank you!
Cermit is beautiful, don't like at all the Hulk, BUT... grey market? NO
